The 6nm Solar Mid Channel Buoy Light is an LED bridge light. They are specifically designed to clearly mark bridges and structures that extend over navigable waterways. Widely used in the US, the NFS400 series is designed to provide excellent visibility up to 4NM and works with existing power sources.
The light is available in a 180º fan-shaped red model or a 360º green model with a fixed installation as standard. These luminaires also have a range of factory-set flash characteristics and sector requirements.
The NFS400 series is also available as a complete solar/battery system to comply with the requirements of regional governing bodies such as the U.S. Coast Guard, or IALA recommendations for fixed bridge markings in navigable waters.
